Welcome to Teri and Will's search for Cheese! With the ideas expressed in one of the number one books on change, "Who Moved My Cheese" by Spencer Johnson, M.D. we have chosen this title for our blog.  It is our desire to find work as Permanent Caretakers for an individual, group or establishment.  We would require a roof with electricity and a monthly stipend or other work for our personal needs. Our medium-large dog must come with us too.  This will be a bit of 'different cheese' or a change in our outlook and focus for this, the mid portion, of our lives.  This desire to find different 'cheese' has arisen from the present changing times.  We are ready for a big change in our lives.

Now a bit about ourselves.  We are both very intelligent, spiritual (but NOT religious) and open minded.  We prefer nature to cities of any kind. We love taking photographs of nature and our travels.  You can view many of them here: Our Photo Site.  We must have internet access since we use this venue for our information outlet, for family contact, and for research on anything from car repairs and scientific interests to fringe science and metaphysics. Most persons find us very eclectic. ; We both dedicate ourselves to whatever work we are doing and strive for consistency in outstanding performance, efficiency and thoroughness.

I am Teri K. Hayes and I am 48 years young. My 'work' began at the age of 17 and just out of High School when I joined the U.S. Marine Corps for 3 years.  My open contract status had me placed in 'Heavy Equipment Operations'.  I later performed the following: Hotel Front Desk Clerk, McDonalds Grill worker, Chicken processor at Sylvest Poultry plant, Veterinarian Assistant, Bakery Clerk, Stock Broker's Assistant / Front Desk, Office Administrator, various Office positions which included the duties of shipping and receiving, accounts payable and receivable, light bookkeeping and various others. I have also done Construction Clean up and Housekeeping in both a personal and a Hotel/Motel status. I am currently Housekeeper of a public facility.

My husband is Will B. Uhouse Sr.. 59yoa. Will is an Engineer and is very creative and inventive. He has served as; X-Ray technician (doing non-destructive testing for the Nuclear Power Industry), Construction Supervisor and hands on construction worker for all facets of commercial condominiums and etc., served as a Police Officer for twelve years and then as armed security for several Las Vegas clubs and casinos. He is currently Office Administrator and IT technician of a one man office for a company called 'Easy Green'. He has worked briefly with the care and upkeep of horses.

This is just a rough basis of who we are and an idea of what we are capable of accomplishing. Just because there may not be a specific talent or ability listed here does not mean that we cannot do it or even excel at it!

He has served as an; Industrial Non-Destructive Testing technician for the Nuclear Power Industry), Commercial Construction, Assistant Superintendent and hands on construction worker for all facets of commercial condominiums and apartments, residential /semi custom homes. he also served as a City Police Officer for 12 years and then as security supervisor for several Las Vegas Hotels and casino/gambling Halls. He is currently privately specialized in small office downscaling to a "Virtual Briefcase" business, saving business owners thousands of dollars in revenue monthly.

This is just a rough basis of who we are and an idea of what we are capable of accomplishing. Just because there may not be a specific talent or ability listed here does not mean that we cannot do it or even excel at it!
